Star Bright is a F2 Mini-Nubian with wonderful breed character and striking markings, including gorgeous roaning and moonspots. She has wonderful nubian character with a roman nose and large, pendulous ears. She is also a nice, petite size that is just perfect for a mini nubian. Her sire comes from a very nice line of Green Gables mini nubians with fantastic udders and conformation, while her dam's side brings in heavy production. Star Bright has a happy go lucky and friendly personality which makes her one of our favorite goats.
Star Bright is a first freshener this year and gave us two lovely doelings. Her FF udder is very nice with snug attachments and teats that are already easy to hand milk. Earlier in her lactation, when milk sharing with a 12 hour hold she provided us with almost 1.5 qt of milk. She has been bred for March 2024 kids to our buck, Dawnchaser (pregnancy unconfirmed).
Star Bright is such a sweet and affectionate goat and has some great potential for her next freshening. She creates gorgeous kids with beautiful nubian ears with a chance for ever popular moonspots. But in an effort to keep our numbers at a reasonable level, and because we are retaining both of her doelings, she is being offered for sale.
